Pastor of faith, author, and faith healer and TV presenter Chris Oyakhilome (also called Pastor Chris) is the founder of LoveWorld Incorporated. The company, which is also known as Christ Embassy is located in Lagos, Nigeria. His unique way of presenting God's Word has inspired thousands across the world.
Pastor Chris The Man
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was born December 7th 1963, in Edo State in Nigeria. He grew up in a religious family with loving, committed parents. He is the oldest son of Elder T.E Oyakhilome. Angelina, one of the pioneers at the Assemblies of God Church in Benin City, as well as the matriarch of Oyakhilome's Oyakhilome family, who instilled her divine grace on her son very early.
The LoveWorld ministry is a family effort. Oyakhilome His brother Reverend Ken is the highly regarded pastor of Christ Embassy's Houston, Texas Church and an active member of Christ Embassy Central Executive Council, and his sister, KattyWorghiren, is the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry (LMAM), which is home to several global best-selling gospel artists.
Pastor Chris has two daughters, Carissa Sharon and Charlene. Carissa Sharon has chosen to follow the path of her father of spreading the Word of God to the world. Also known as CSO, she is an award-winning gospel singer and a member of LoveWorld Music and Arts.
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome started his studies at Edo College. Then he was awarded a scholarship to go to Bendel State University, now Ambrose Ali University. There he earned an BSc. in Architecture as well as an honorary Doctor of Science. He is also a doctoral honorary from Benson Idahosa University in divinity. Ambrose Ali University was where he found his calling to serve the Lord and become a minister.

When he was still at the university, The Man of God created what would become one of the biggest churches in the world. He began an informal prayer group called "Youth for Christ" which would later become the most well-known organisation of its type on campus. This was also the basis for the future Christ Embassy and LoveWorld Incorporated, with millions of followers across the globe.
Under the direction of Pastor Chris, LoveWorld became a pioneer of satellite television and Christian programming. LoveWorldSAT was the first Christian television channel that broadcasts 24/7 from Africa through free-to-air networks. In the present, LoveWorld television stations are available on cable and satellite networks around the world.
Christ Embassy has strong presence in Pastor Chris's home country of Nigeria, South Africa and Canada. The ministry also runs two Healing School in South Africa, Canada and the US, where Pastor Chris leads seasonal sessions, where miracles can be achieved.
